About keyword research & search console tools
These tools cover the planning side of keyword research. Generators expand a seed term into long-tail, modifier and question patterns, while the clustering, intent and mapping tools turn a raw list into topics and decide which page should target which phrase. None of them show search volumes; check demand for your shortlist in Google Keyword Planner or your own Search Console data.
If your site already gets traffic, start with your data instead of guesses. Export the Performance report from Google Search Console and load it into the analyzer, striking distance finder or cannibalization checker. Those files are processed in your browser, so the queries and pages stay on your device.
Frequently asked questions
Do these keyword tools show search volume?
No. The generators create keyword ideas from patterns such as modifiers, questions and comparisons, and the other tools work on lists or Search Console exports you provide. To estimate demand, paste your shortlist into Google Keyword Planner or check impressions for related queries in Search Console. This keeps the ideas honest instead of showing invented numbers.
Which keyword tool should I start with?
For a new site or topic, start with the keyword generator or question generator, then group the results with the clustering tool and plan pages with the mapping tool. For an established site, export your Search Console queries and use the analyzer and striking distance finder first, because they work with the searches you already appear for.
Is my Search Console data uploaded anywhere?
No. The Search Console tools read the CSV export directly in your browser using JavaScript. The file is not sent to our server, so your queries, pages, clicks and impressions stay on your device. Closing the tab clears the loaded data.
